Safety, Care & More
Absolutely! Think back to the sterling silver items that have been used for generations: sterling silver flatware, baby cups, rattles and teethers. Each Momma's Jewels piece is made of exquisite .925 sterling silver. There is NO lead in any of our pieces.

Wash daily or as needed with warm water and mild soap. Rinse well and dry immediately. Do not soak or place in the dishwasher. Treat your "jewels" as you would your fine silverware.
Yes! Beginning as young as three months, babies like to chew on something firm and cool as they are teething. Sterling silver is inherently cool to the touch and naturally soothing to the baby's gums. The rattle in each jewelry piece also doubles as a teaching tool to fine tune motor function skills for little ones.
Yes! The 30" length endless chain is the perfect length for baby to pick up the rings to teethe and play, therefore baby does not pull or tug to reach. In addition, the rings are hollow so even though the necklace is large in size, it is very light.
Sterling silver will not tarnish with proper care and handling. Handling keeps silver free of tarnish, so use regularly. However, if sterling silver sits without use, it will tarnish For your convenience, Momma's Jewels includes a non-toxic polish cloth with each piece, as well as anti-tarnish strips in our packaging.
No! Never place necklace on baby or leave unattended with baby. Please note: our necklaces are for adults to wear only.
No! Although the chain is sterling silver, the necklace was designed for baby to teethe on the ring portion. When baby holds the ring to teethe/play, the chain slides freely along the ring dropping to the bottom (i.e. away from the baby's mouth).
You may see small teeth marks in the sterling silver as your child teethes. It makes a wonderful keepsake!
